CALIBRATION CURVE PREPARATION APPARATUS FOR OUTPUT DEVICE AND CALIBRATION METHOD OF OUTPUT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate simply the color variation of an output device by correcting the value of each of the primary colors included in data for printing through the use of a calibration curve. SOLUTION: A chart output means 41 outputs charts for calibration 70 with the color samples of plural densities concerning each primary color by each of a standard output device 50 and a calibration object output device 10. They are color-measured by a color measuring part 42, and the color-measured results of them are stored in a standard value storing part 43 and a present state value storing part 44. Then a calibration curve preparing part 45 prepares a calibration curve for the device 10 from stored each color-measured result, and a calibration curve output part 46 supplies it to a personal computer(PC) 20. A PC 20 corrects the value of each primary color included in printing data by the use of the supplied calibration curve, at the transmitting of printing data to the device 10.
