ELECTRONIC MAIL SYSTEM WITH MAIL DELETE FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To delete a conventional mail to be already sent by sending a delete request mail. SOLUTION: A mail transmission means 11 of a terminal (a) stores a mail type, a sender side mail address and a transmission time as header information and sends a usual mail and a transmission history file 13 stores a transmitted usual mail and its transmission history information. A mail storage means 31 of a mail server B stores it in a mail post 32 when the usual mail is received. A delete request mail transmission means 12 acquires the mail stored in the transmission history file 13 and switches the mail type of the mail for a delete request and sends the mail as the delete request mail. The mail storage means 31 retrieves a mail of the same sender side mail address and the same transmission time from the mail post 32 when the delete request mail is transmitted and deletes the mail from the mail post 32 when the relevant mail is present.
