Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rainwater from stagnating in a rutted road by paving a draining road by use of a mixture for pavement having a wide size distribution, from the central part of a traffic lane of a roadway side end to the roadway side, so as to abut on an existing paved structure or a newly paving structure. SOLUTION: The road side end of the surface course 3 in an existing paved road is cut off from the nearly central part of a roadway to the roadway side end, and a mixture for normal tem. pavement having a wide size distribution is laid to construct a draining pavement structure 2. A tack coat is preferably applied on an exposed face such as the upper face of the surface course 3 or an L-shaped ditch 7 to collect rainwater or the like in a water discharge pipe 6 and discharge it. The draining pavement structure 2 is constructed so as to include rutted parts nearest the roadway side end. A mixture 10 like mortar is poured in the joint part and the periphery to fill voids and integrally unit them. The percentage of voids of the mixture for pavement having a wide size distribution is designed to range 10-30% and the mixture 10 like mortar is chiefly made of an asphalt emulsion, fine aggregate, and a hydraulic inorganic material. In this way, a pavement structure provided with a favorable strength and durability in common can be obtained.
