Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a catalyst composition for olefin polymerization capable of readily and cost effectively preparing by including a reaction product of a specific fulvene with a specific complex and an activating cocatalyst. SOLUTION: This catalyst composition is obtained by including a reaction product of (A) a fulvene (oligomer) of the formula (R1 to R6 are each H, hydrocarbyl or a hetero atom-containing group and arbitrary two or more Rs together may form a ring) with (B) a complex of the formula [Lm MXn ]r [L is a neutral ligand; M is an atom selected from groups 3 to 14 and lanthanides; X is anionic group; (m) and (n) are each >=0; (r) is Z1] and (C) an activating cocatalyst. 6,6-Pentamethyl-enefulvene, 6,6-dimethylfulvene, etc., is preferable as the component A. Zirconium (IV)acetylacetonate, zirconium(IV) diethyl amide, etc., is preferable as the component B. A modified methylaminoxane is preferable as the component C. |
