PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the new subject compound constituting of modified ando- igodeoxyribonucleotide having a specific sequence, excellent in anti-AIDS virus activities, capable of inhibiting the propagation of the virus in an infected cell and useful for a therapeutic agent, a preventing agent or the like of AIDS disease. SOLUTION: This compound is a new modified oligodeoxyribonucleotide of formula I Q is a group of R1 R23 [R1 to R3 are each H, a 1-4C alkyl, a (substituted) aryl or a (substituted) anthraquinonyl; Z is C or Si, or forms fluorenyl or the like with R2 and R3 ] ; R4 is H, a (substituted) 1-4C aikyl, a (substituted) aryl or the like; Y1 , Y3 and Y4 are each O, S or NH; Y2 is O, S, NH, a 1-4C alkylene or phenylene; X is a (substituted) 1-10C alkylene; (m) and (n) are each 0-10; B is a sequence of TGGGGT, TGGGGTT, TGGGCG or the like}, and useful as a therapeutic agent, a preventing agent or the like of AIDS disease.
