PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a problem of securing a site and to automatically perform the movement, collection-delivery and stand-by of a motor truck for delivery in the stop state of an engine. SOLUTION: Physical distribution facilities are provided with a cargo handling place 16 constructed in a basement B of a building 10; a stand-by berth 18 constructed opposedly to the cargo handling place 16; a lifter 22 elevatingly moving between the basement B and a warehousing-delivery berth at a ground surface part, in an intermediate position of the cargo handing place 16 and stand-by berth 18; and a plurality of motor truck loading transfer tricks 26 loaded on the lifter 22 and guided to be reciprocated between the cargo handling place 16 and stand-by berth 18 in the basement B.
