Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a using method of a slide plate and a slide valve device using the slide plate, which can simply carry out the obuerse/reverse reversing operation of the slide plate in a hot condition. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for using a slide plate 10 having an opening 11, which enables opening/closing and opening level adjustment of a pore by being slid across the pore, from which a molten metal is poured, and a slide valve device 1 using the slide plate 10. The device comprises a rotation supporting part 20 which can change the observe and reverse of the slide plate 10 against the molten metal under the condition that the slide plate 10 is held near the pore, from which the molten metal is poured.
