Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage assembly for a computer disk drive. SOLUTION: A carriage assembly 10 is provided with a movable carriage 20 for supporting a read/write head in order to make the head move with respect to magnetic disks of one or more, while the movable carriage 20 has a slots 22, 23 of one or more. A guide structure supports the movable carriage 20 in order to guide the movement of the movable carriage 20 and the guide structures 30L, 30R have slots of one or more. Then, plural spheroidal balls are provided in this assembly and respective spheroidal balls are arranged between slots of the movable carriage 20 and slots of the guide structure.
