SOLUTION: Air-conditioning equipment is provided with a compressor 1, a condenser 5, pressure-reducing devices 7 and 9, a cooling heat storing bath 17, and an evaporator 11. The compressor 1 is driven, a refrigerant is circulated in the order of the cooling heat storing bath 17 and the evaporator 11 for achieving a cooling utilizing cooling heat storing, and at the same time a drive means 26 utilizing a star delta connection is connected to a motor 25 of the compressor 1, the compressor 1 is driven in star connection on cooling operation utilizing the cooling heat storing, and the compressor 1 is driven in delta connection on the other operations.
