Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide an ink ribbon onto a heat-generating resistance body array in a good state without wrinkles or twists by forming a plurality of projections or recesses at a recording medium slide face of a head cover. SOLUTION: In this thermal head, a head substrate 1 having a heat-generating resistance body array of a plurality of heat-generating resistor 2 on an upper face, and a printed wiring board 3 having a wiring conductor electrically connected to the heat-generating resistors 2 are placed on a radiation plate 4, and a connection part between the head substrate 1 and printed wiring board 3 is coated with a head cover 5 mounted to the radiation plate 4. In printing images, a recording medium P is slid in touch with a part of a surface of the head cover 5 thereby being guided on the heat-generating resistor array. A plurality of projections are formed at a recording medium slide face A of the head cover 5. An angular part of the projection of the head cover 5 is made an R face, and the projections of the head cover 5 are formed by a density of 16-25/ cm . |
