MANHOLE AND JOINT STRUCTURE FOR PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of rigid type whereby even when center deviation is provided in a cut hole part of manhole and a pipe or joint, connection can be easily made, also even a water stop effect can be sufficiently displayed. SOLUTION: In an inner side of a steel-made collar 2 having an external diameter which can be fitted to a cut hole part 1 of a manhole A, a reinforcing layer 3 of rigid member is formed, also in one side part inner side of the stee- made collar 2, a water stopping seal material 4 is fixedly mounted, to be formed as a pipe fitting connection part 5, in an outer side of the steel-made collar 2, an elastic annular wedge member 6 is mounted, also in an outer side of the steel-made collar 2, a press in means 7 is arranged in plural quantity with a space in a peripheral direction, which press in inserts the annular wedge member 6 to a clearance between an inner surface of the cut hole part 1 of the manhole A and the outer surface of the steel-made collar 2.
