SHEARING SEPARATION EQUIPMENT OF REACTOR FUEL ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate sampling and treating shear piece sample of spent fuel by providing the bottom of shearing machine with an open chute, providing a freely moving dolly horizontally traversing over the opening of the chute and passing a sampling basket to the moving dolly adjacent to the shearing machine on the moving path of the dolly. SOLUTION: A moving dolly 43 is set on a passing position lined in a transport opening 47. A sampling basket 49 is fixed to a basket assembler 53 and contained, and a transport box 50 sealed by closing a bottom plate 55 is arranged in the transport opening 47 and set on a housing 45. Then, the bottom plate 55 is slid and the bottom of the transport box 50 is opened. Next, a basket assembler 53 is operated and the sampling basket 49 is put on the moving dolly positioning below the transport dolly 43. The moving dolly 43 put by the sampling basket 49 is moved below the shearing blade 27 of the shearing machine 21 to position on the opening of a chute assembly 30. A spent fuel Sf is fixed with a fixed blade 25 and sheared with a shearing blade 27 to put in the basket 49.
