Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel process for regenerating an ammonium oxidation catalyst containing molybdenum. SOLUTION: A process for regenerating the ammonium oxidation catalyst containing molybdenum as an active component comprises the step of restoring loss of molybdenum during use of the catalyst in an ammonium oxidation reaction for production of acrylonitrile by treating the catalyst, and selecting ammonium dimolybdate as a feed source of the molybdenum added to the original catalyst for restoring the loss of molybdenum as an improved point.
