Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate restraint of the number of positioning mobiles and restraint of positioning times in the mutual moving bodies, in positioning of underwater mobiles. SOLUTION: Transmitter devices of different frequency are provided on the different three positions in the water, and pulse-like ultrasonic waves are repeatedly transmitted simultaneously. The positioning receiver of a mobile receives ultrasonic waves from the three positions, signals from the two positions are made to be one set, as for respective two set of different combination, difference of receiving times is measured by time difference measuring instruments 12, 13, hyperbolas of fixed difference of distances corresponding to the respective time difference are found by hyperbola function devices 14, 15, respectively, the point of intersection of both hyperbolas is found by an intersection point positioning device 16, and it is output as the position of the mobile.
