EXHAUST METHOD AND STRUCTURE OF ELECTRIC MELTING FURNACE FOR ASH TREATMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust method and structure of an electric metal furnace for ash treatment which can prevent clogging in the course of a duct as caused by a low boiling point substance such as NaCl or KCl in an exhaust gas to be discharged from garbage disposal equipment. SOLUTION: A sectional area of an opening on the exterior side of a furnace of an exhaust gas vent port 8 is made larger than that of the opening on the interior side thereof 8 and a mobile duct 28 is so arranged at the exhaust gas bleeding port 8 to make the depth of the insertion thereof variable. Air for cooling is sucked into the exhaust gas bleeding port 8 from the exterior side of the furnace so that a gas of a low boiling point substance is quickly cooled to be sucked together with the exhaust gas as solid matter. The tip of the mobile duct is pierced into the furnace to remove ash stuck on the exhaust gas port 8. A cooling air blowing pipe 19 may be provided on the side of the furnace body of the exhaust gas vent port.
