Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a shift sleeve stably supported in a specific attitude of a propeller driver of a marine propeller and to accurately transmit planger shifting to a clutch body. SOLUTION: A shift sleeve 38 is inserted into a blind hole in the front end of a propeller shaft 28 and the shift sleeve 38 is connected to a clutch body 35 by means of a cylindrical pin 39 inserted into an inner hole of the shift sleeve 38. A detent ball 41 is fitted into a fitting hole on the side wall of the shift sleeve 38 and two shift balls 44, 45 are inserted between the detent ball 41 and the pin 39 in the inner hole of the shift sleeve 38, while a shift spring 43 is fitted between the two shift balls 44, 45. One of the shift balls 44, 45 pushes the detent ball 41 and the other shift ball 45 pushes the pin 39 by resilient repulsive force of the shift spring 43.
