Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject fibrous form excellent in water repellency as well as sound-absorbing ability involving audio frequency band. SOLUTION: This sound-absorbing fibrous form is a fibrous form composed of at least two kinds of fibers, wherein one kind of the constituent fibers is fiber A containing a thermoplastic polymer R1 with a melting point lower than those of other fibers, and owing to the polymer R1, the fiber A is mutually bonded and a part of the contact points between the fiber A and the other fibers has been substratially bonded, and further, at least one side of the surfaces of this fibrous form is coated with a water repellent. The other objective sound-insulating wall is constructed by using such a soundabsorbing fibrous form a mentioned above.
