Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe fitting excellent in watertightness and having a collet. SOLUTION: This pipe fitting has a collet 2 provided with notches 23 in plural positions at one end along the direction of its axis to split its head part 21 into plural parts, the collet 2 having an inclined face 211 which corresponds to the inclined face 111a of a faucet 11, on the outer peripheral surface of the head part 21, and having a biting part 213 that bites into an insertion pipe, on the inner peripheral surface of the head part 21. Ribs that enter the notches 23 at the insertion of the head part 21 of the collet 2 are provided on the inner surface of the faucet 11 of a pipe joint main body 1 at predetermined intervals along the circumferential direction.
