VACCINE FOR CANINE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a canine attenuated vaccine having low affinity for canine intestinal tracts and not excreting canine coronavirus in diarrhea by using canine coronavirus not having affinity for the canine intestinal tracts. SOLUTION: This vaccine for preventing canine coronavirus diseases uses a canine coronavirus not having affinity for the canine intestinal tracts and preferably having affinity for respiratory organs. The canine coronavirus vaccine having the properties preferably contains at least one kind of canine coronavirus selected from the strain 5821 expressed by the sequence No. 1 and viruses having a partially mutated sequence, a partially inserted sequence or a partially defected sequence based on the 5'-terminal base sequence of a spike protein in the strain 5821.
