PIPE CUTTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe cutter able to stably support a pipe of various sizes in accurate size in a base device and the pipe cutter having the base device eliminating necessity for positioning work of a storage part of a cutting tool and compactly making a device total unit. SOLUTION: A base device 2 is provided with a support base 12 positioned downward from a top part of support rollers 5a, 5b to receive a pipe from below and a slide mechanism part making a pair of the support rollers slide in parallel to a position able to support from both sides the pipe matched with an external diameter of the pipe received by this support base 12. A pipe cutter 1 has a storage part 3 receiving a cutting tool 14 so as to position a blade in an orthogonal condition relating to a center axis of the pipe set up on the support roller in the base device 2 and the storage part 3 is positioned in a lower side of a support surface of the pipe in the support base 12, with the blade 14a movable upward of the support surface to be mounted in the base device when the pipe is cut.
