PRESS-BENDING TYPE HOT BENDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively develop such an advantage of a press-bending type that a bending mechanism part is compact and also free bending is possible and furthermore to control a shape of bending with high precision. SOLUTION: A system, wherein a press-bending roller 3 is transferred by a prescribed transfer locus according to the progress of bending, is used as the control of a shape of bending in a press-binding type hot bender, and moreover the transfer of the press-bending roller is controlled based on an actual transfer quantity of a stock 1 to be worked after heating. For this purpose, the transfer quantity of the stock to be worked is measured by a measuring means 8 at a position wherein the stock to be worked has passed a heating means, and the transfer locus of the press-bending roller is controlled based on the measured value. Thus, the shape of bending is controlled.
