Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse rotation-preventing device for fishing reel having a simplified structure and improved operability by stopping or allowing the rotation of a one-way clutch itself by enabling plural holes and an engaging member to be switched to and held at an engaged state or a released state. SOLUTION: A one-way clutch 12 is freely rotatably installed on a driving shaft rotating synchronously with the rotation of a handle 2, and plural holes 14 are formed on the circumference of the side surface of the outer wheel 18 of the one-way clutch. An engaging member 15 is supported with a reel body 1 so as to be moved back and forth and sprung back by a spring 16 in the circumference direction, and the holes 14 and the engaging member 15 are enabled to be switched to a engaged state and a released state to stop or allow the rotation of the one-way clutch 12 itself. The engaged state and the released state of the holes 14 and the engaging member 15 are each switched and held preferably by installing a switching member such as a switching level 17.
