BROADCAST SIGNAL RECORDING METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously view and listen or record programs of plural enterprise without using plural tuner parts. SOLUTION: A broadcast in which programs of plural enterprizing companies are included in one physical channel is received with a tuner 5 to be demodulated in a demodulation part 7 and a transmission error is corrected in an error correcting part 9. A transmission control signal decoding part 19 separates bit streams of videos and voices and transmission control information or program selection information from the broadcast signal subjected to an error correction to control the demodulation part 7 and the error correcting part 9. A signal in which the transmission control information or the program selection information are multiplexed to the bit streams is recorded in a recording and reproducing part 29 via digital interface parts 25, 31. Then, an HDTV decoding device 15 and an SDTV decoding device 17 decode the bit streams to be applied via a signal changeover part 11, a descrambling part 13 into videos and voices.
