PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly perform the uniformly set multi-stage retrieval of a capsule by providing a multi-media object in the capsule, plural method for a capsule operation including a retrieval method and an interface for activating the retrieval method. SOLUTION: In a capsule 50, plural methods 51 including at least one retrieval method 52, an open index 53 open to public and a data part 54 for storing multi-media contents are stored. By activating the retrieval method 52 of the capsule 50, plural retrieval options are newly generated in the retrieval method 55. Also, by activating the retrieval method 55, an extraction index 56 is generated. On a retrieval application used by a retrieving person, an interface for utilizing the generated retrieval options is clearly presented and utilization as a retrieval means is made possible.
