PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved photosensitive image forming member by using an electrically conductive substrate, a light emitting material, an electric charge transferring material and polymer binders including a polycarbonate- contg. 1st polymer and a specified 2nd polymer. SOLUTION: The image forming member has an electrically conductive substrate, a light emitting material, an electric charge transferring material and polymer binders including a polycarbonate-contg. 1st polymer and a 2nd polymer of formula I or the like. In the formula I, (x) is 0 or 1, A is one of groups of formulae II, etc., or a mixture of such groups and B is one of groups of formulae III, etc., or a mixture of such groups. For example, the photoconductive image forming member has an electrically conductive substrate, a light emitting layer contg. a light emitting compd. dispersed in a resin binder compsn. and an electric charge transferring layer contg. charge electric transferring molecules dispersed in a resin binder compsn. At least one of the resin binder compsns. contains a blend of a polycarbonate and a polymer of the formula I.
