JOINT STRUCTURE BETWEEN RING OF SEGMENT USED IN SHIELD TUNNEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure between rings of one-touch type segments to be used in a shield tunnel which is simple in construction and thus can be provided at a lower cost. SOLUTION: This is a joint construction between rings of segment for assembling segments by inserting a male fittings 20 projected out and fixed to the end portion of a connecting end portion of a segment 1B being assembled into a female fittings 10 embedded and fixed in a connecting end portion of a segment 1A already assembled. The male fittings 20 of the segment 1B being assembled comprises two leaf springs 21a, 21b projecting out forward with a certain interval between them, the tip of the one leaf spring of the leaf spring 21a, 21b formed to a hook shape projected out to one side, and the tip of other leaf spring is formed to a hook shape projected out to other side. Also, the female fittings of the segment already assembled comprises a steel frame provided with a width-widened portion 12 as a linking step portion 11 in which the hook portions 22a, 22b of the male fittings of the assembled segment are linked to the inner peripheral surface at inner end.
