FILLING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep feather-like bulkiness, bulk retention, drape property, flexibility, slimy touch and heat insulation property in a good balance by knitting wool material fibers containing at least the fibers whose cross section is in the shape of the figure 8 or 9 provided with a hollow part in the stitches of a core material formed in a stitch structure. SOLUTION: The core material 3 is formed in the stitch structure by core material fibers 1, the wool material fibers 2 are knitted inside the chain stitch structure of the stitch structure and this filling material is constituted. Thus, a structure for suppressing the wool material falling of the wool material fibers 2 is obtained. As the wool material fibers 2, the ones in which constituting fibers contain the fibers whose cross section is in the shape of the figure of 8 or the fibers whose cross section is in the shape of the figure 9 provided with the hollow part are used. The ratio of the fibers whose cross section is in the shape of the figure 9 or 8 is regulated to be about 20 wt.%, preferably more than about 50%. Thus, heat insulation property, compatibility filling materials bulkiness, flexibility and the with other property, etc., are improved.
