POLYMERIZED TONER AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the polymerized toner low in fixing temperature and wide in the nonoffset temperature width and capable of matching high-speed printing and suitable for a color toner and superior in storage stability. SOLUTION: The toner is prepared by stirring and mixing a monomer for a core composed of styrene and n-butyl acrylate with carbon black, a charge controller, divinyl benzene, and pentaerithritol tetrastearate to uniformly disperse them to form a monomer mixture for the core, and after mixing it with a magnesium hydroxide colloid dispersion, adding t-butylperoxy-2-ethylhexanoate, and granulating the liquid drops of the mixture monomer by high-shearing stirring, and initiating polymerization reaction, and when a polymerization degree arrives to almost 100%, adding a monomer for a shell, dispersed in water obtained by finely dispersing methyl methacrylate and water, and potassium persulfate, and after continuing the reaction, stopping the reaction, thus forming a core-shell type polymer toner.
