SOLUTION: This helmet is equipped with an opening part 3 is formed in the front of a shell 2. The helmet is provided with a shield 6 for opening and closing the opening part 3. The shell 2 is furnished with a through hole for ventilation and with an opening and closing member 64 for opening and closing the through hole. A shield knob 81 is arranged at the lower edge of the shield 6. The opening and closing member 64 is equipped with a stopper member 72 to be engaged with the shield knob 81.
