Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a transmission belt by joining both ends of the belt body together to form the belt body into an endless belt. SOLUTION: A belt body 11 is made up of a ring-belt member 16 made of urethane. The belt member 16 is two-folded, and a ring-like connection part 13 is each formed on both ends of the two-folded belt member 16. The connection part 13 is provided with a connecting hole 14. The two-folded belt member 16 is twisted to form a body part 12 between both the connection parts 13. On the other hand, a joint metal fitting 18 has a pair of hooks 19 on its both ends. Then, the hook 19 of the joint metal fitting 18 is inserted into the connecting hole 14 of the belt body 11 to connect both the connection parts 13. Further, a filler material 15 is packed in the connecting hole 14 to fasten the connection part 13 to the joint metal fitting 18.
