WATER COLLECTING PIT FOR RAIN GUTTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the adhesiveness to the inner periphery of a water drop tube by integrally suspending a connection end section continued to the bottom plate of a water collecting pit by squeezing, outwardly coupling the water drop tube with the connection end section, and spot-welding them. SOLUTION: A main body 1 is molded into a nearly cylindrical shape, and a water drop tube 22 for connecting a vertical gutter A to a bottom plate 14 is suspended. The back face plate 11 of the main body 1 is provided with a notch 12 for inserting an elbow C continued to a drain pipe E. A connection end section 2 is extended integrally with the bottom plate 14. A protruded face 21 is formed on the outer periphery of the connection end section 2, and a space section 25 is formed between it and the connection end section 2. The rainwater from the lower end of the connection end section 2 is not retained due to the space section 25, which functions as a water drip. For assembling, the water drop tube 22 is thrust and outwardly coupled with the connection end section 2, and they are fixed by spot welding so as to pinch the protruded face 21, thereby no gap is generated at the welded portion by welding, and the work can be easily conducted.
