Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the clogging of a mask and the entanglement of grill element wire caused by the conversion of a blackened film into rust in forming a blackened film suitable for the inside materials such as the shadow mask or aperture grill of a cathode-ray tube, fitting frames therefor or the like and thereafter executing reheating. SOLUTION: Heating treatment is executed in an atmosphere such as the following. The water content in the atmosphere is suppressed to =0.2 atmospheric pressure. Moreover, the contents of sulfur oxide and chlorine in the atmosphere are made small.
