Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling granulation method by which high purity fine Li2 O sintered particulates are obtd. SOLUTION: Lithium carbonate powder as powdery starting material, together with a carrier material which is thermally decomposed at a specified temp., is rolled in a rotating drum to obtain mixed granules of the carrier material and Li2 CO3 powder. The mixed granules are heated to remove the carrier material. The resultant Li2 CO3 granules are further heated to form Li2 O granules by thermal decomposition. The Li2 O granules are sintered to obtain the objective fine Li2 O sintered particulates.
