Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable and safety elevator brake for high-speed and heavy loads that has a high friction coefficient and low abrasion. SOLUTION: The safety elevator comprises a base, a wearing surface installed on the base brought into contact with an elevator guide rail, and a brake shoe 26 provided with the base, wherein at least a part of the wearing surface is made of an alloy consists of about 99.4 wt.% of molybdenum, 0.5 wt.% of titanium, and 0.1 wt.% of zirconium.
