METHOD FOR LAYING RESERVOIR BOTTOM PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor and working hours required for laying a bottom plate. SOLUTION: A bottom plate 10 is formed by temporarily attaching numerous divided pieces on an upper face of a cold insulating foundation 7, and a reinforcing material receive 30 is placed on an upper face of the bottom plate 10 across a welding line to avoid the welding line of each divided piece as much as possible and with a working space of a required height secured on a position overlapping the welding line. A plurality of reinforcing materials 25 in a truss structure are bridged over each reinforcing material receive 30 to assemble, while the respective reinforcing materials 25 are integrally coupled with one another to reinforce the bottom plate 10 to prevent it from flexing due to its own weight, and while each reinforcing material 25 is hung to float from the cold insulating foundation 7, the welding lines of the respective divided pieces are completely joined to have the bottom plate 10 finished. The bottom plate 10 is lowered, the respective reinforcing materials 25 are disassembled and removed, and an outer periphery of the bottom plate 10 is joined with an inner periphery of a peripheral annular plate 11.
