Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a gold club head where a face plate can be fixed closely to a head body. SOLUTION: When a face plate 8 is to be fixed to a recess formed on the face of a head body 4, by crushing a body side projection 6c that is formed at the outside peripheral edge of the recess and a face side projection 8a that is raised along the peripheral edge of the face plate by applying pressure to the body side projection 6c of the head body in opposition to the body side projection 8a, the face plate is fixed closely to the head body.
