Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery with its improved energy quantity and cycle life by employing a compound oxide and a carbon material, mainly Sn (II) at a specific rate as a negative electrode material of a nonaqueous secondary battery consisting of a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode material, and a nonaqueous electrolyte. SOLUTION: A compound oxide and a carbon material are employed at a percent of 10/90 to 80/20 by weight. The compound oxide is a non-crystal oxide, including an oxygen atom and including at least three or more kinds of elements. The carbon material including a graphite structure, is obtained by burning a graphite retardant carbon at a temperature exceeding 2,400 deg.C using a sintered body of methophase pitch, phenol resin, and acrylonitrile resin, has an X-ray refraction peak equivalent to a plurality of 002 faces, and is suitably 0.1 to 15 microns in average particle size. Preferably, the positive electrode active material is a material, including Lix MO2 (M: Co, Ni, Fe, Mn, x: 0 to 1.2) or a spinel structure of Liy N2 O4 (N: Mn, y: 0 to 2). |
