Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure fixation of a scaffold plate in each intersecting area by introducing such a configuration that crosswise stays can be coupled at different levels of columns, prevent an unexpected incident caused by the scaffold plate becoming unsteady or being set off, permit installing a long stretch type scaffold plate designed for a long span in case the scaffold has a small inter-column span, and establish the possibility of common use of the scaffold plates to scaffolds having a different span. SOLUTION: A member coupling device for a scaffold or timbering is to couple a column 1 with a crosswise stay 2 by inserting a coupling member 4 attached to the end of the stay 2 to a flange member 10 installed at the periphery of the column 1 and driving a wedge 9 in such a way as striding over the two members. In front side of the coupling member 4, horizontal openings 6 and 7 to serve as a socket for the flange member 10 are furnished in two stages up and down, so that it is possible to change the coupling position of the stay 2 in two stages, upper and lower. Through holes 8 are provided in the side faces 4c and 4d of the coupling member 4, and a slipoff stopping member to be engaged by the wedge 9 is inserted into the holes 8 so as to prevent its loosening and slipping off. |
