FILTER EXCHANGE METHOD FOR RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL CONTAINING DUST COLLECTING AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safe working, shorten a working time and reduce a waste production amount by performing attachment, detachment and replacement of a new filter and an old filter and the discharge of a used filter by remote control, according to a prescribed process without relying on direct human hands. SOLUTION: A shielding cover for a lower wall communicating opening 14, a filter unit 20, a closed shielding cover 22, a weight 21 and a used filter are hung up by the drive of an attachment and detachment transfer mechanism in order to be mounted on a turn table 13. A new filter, the weight 21 and the closed shielding cover 22 on the turntable 13 are loaded to the filter unit 20 by a gripper 18 in order, and the shielding cover for the lower wall communicating opening 14 is hung up by the gripper 18 to close the lower wall communicating opening. After the housing vessel 12 of used filter housing is moved to a prescribed position, the used filter on the turntable 13 is hung up by the gripper to be mounted on the conveyor of a closed box, and after the communicating opening for the housing vessel is closed, the shielding cover for the lower wall communicating opening 14 is hung up by the gripper 18 to close the lower wall communicating opening. The used filter in the closed box is moved up to the upper part of a shoot by drive of a drive part, and discharged by remotely controlling a discharge mechanism.
