Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for laying a power cable and thereby facilitate the installation construction of a device by connecting a device body and a current detection part only with a high-frequency cable by using a Rogowsky coil for the current detection part of a thunder-observing device, and connecting the device body and a voltage detection part only with an optical fiber by using an optical VT body for the voltage detection part. SOLUTION: In a thunder observation system for collecting observation data at a center 1 via a portable telephone 2 by installing a thunder observation device 3 for observing a lightning current and an induced voltage on lightning at an observation site, a Rogowsky coil 61 by which a conductor to be measured is penetrated is connected to a thunder observation device body 3 via a high-frequency cable 62 as a current detection part, and an optical VT body 71 for converting a voltage obtained from the conductor to be measured to a light signal is connected to the thunder observation device body 3 via an optical fiber cable 72 as a voltage detection part.
