Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily correct a warp and uniformly process a flow path and a discharge opening, by providing a grooved member with an insert member divided to a plurality of parts in an arrangement direction of a plurality of grooves. SOLUTION: A grooved top plate 200 has a plurality of nozzles 202 communicating with discharge energy generation elements on heater boards and an orifice 203 set correspondingly to the nozzles 202 to discharge ink to a recording medium. Also a liquid chamber 201 communicating with each nozzle 202 to supply ink to each nozzle 202, and an ink feed path through which ink supplied from an ink tank is sent to the liquid chamber 201 are formed in the top plate. Insert molded bars 205-214 are provided to eliminate a difference of thermal expansion coefficients of a base plate and a resin part of the grooved top plate 200. The grooved top plate 200 has a length almost covering an array of discharge energy generation elements obtained by aligning a plurality of heater boards.
