Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furnace having further higher thermal efficiency and refractories of which the furnace is consisted. SOLUTION: A furnace is constituted in a state to contain a glass film 24 formed on the surface of a beat insulation material in a state that pigment particles 30 are scattered in a glass texture 28. Further, the glass film 24 has a silica glass layer 32 containing a silicon dioxide with a content higher than a value in the glass texture 28 at an interface between the pigment particles 30 and the glass texture 28. Thereby, the radiation capacity is improved, since the glass film 24 where the pigment particles 30 are scattered in the glass texture 28 is formed on the inner surface of a heat insulation material. In this case, since interface reaction between the pigment particles 30 during baking and during the use of the furnace and the glass texture 28 and oxidation of the pigment particles 30 are suppressed by the silica glass layer 32, a high radiation rate is provided for a heat insulation material and maintained, and the furnace is usable in a state that high radiation rate is maintained at a high temperature area where a thermal efficiency improvement effect is high.
