Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain paper excellent in dispersibility, having little formability and excellent in formation, paper strength and the like by using a thermotropic liquid crystal polyester fiber with a composition obtained by formulating a specific compound and imparted as a treating agent, as a paper stock. SOLUTION: This treating agent for a paper stock comprises a composition obtained by formulating a compound of formula I [R1 and R2 are each a 1-10C alkyl; R3 and R5 are each a 1-10C alkylene; R4 is a 1-10C alkylene or naphthyl; (m) and (n) are each a natural number of >=1], having 500-20,000, preferably 6,000-14,000 average molecular weight, with a compound of formula II [R6 and R7 are each a 1-30C alkyl; (s) is a natural number of >=1], having 400-3,000, preferably 900-2,000 average molecular weight in a ratio of (30/70)-(99/1), preferably (50/50)-(95/5). The treating agent is imparted to a tow of a thermotropic liquid crystal polyester fiber, and the imparted tow is cut to a prescribed length and subjected to a papermaking to provide a paper. |
