RULER FOR ENGRAVING ATTACHING GROOVE FOR HARDWARE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardware attaching groove engraving ruler which can simply and exactly engrave a straight attaching groove for a front for an inlet box hinge and a door lock and its socket by only one unit. SOLUTION: A laterally long rectangular hole 2 is drilled in a laterally long rectangular substrate 1, and the first reference guide 3 is provided at a position outside a longitudinal side 2, of the hole 2 at a fixed space, and the second movable reference guide 4 is provided in a substrate 1 at a position outside an opposite longitudinal edge 22 of the hole 2 at a fixed space S, and arranged adjustably through a guide bar 9 having the guide 4 provided on a substrate side. A flat face of the substrate is provided with the first stopper guide 5 outside the longitudinal edge 21 of the hole 2 at a fixed space S1 , and the second movable stopper guide 6 is provided outside a longitudinal edge 22 opposite to the edge 21 at a fixed space S2 , and the third stopper guide 7 is provided outside the short edge 23 of the rectangular hole at a fixed space S3 , and the fourth movable stopper guide 8 is provided outside a short edge 24 opposite to the edge 23 at a fixed space S4 .
