METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SHEET CROWN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the target sheet crown and sheet shape and to stably execute rolling of a steel sheet by highly accurately controlling the sheet crown in the rolling of the steel sheet using a rolling mill provided with a work roll shifting mechanism. SOLUTION: At the time of executing the rolling of the steel sheet using the rolling mill provided with the work roll shifting mechanism, in a method by which the target value of the sheet crown is set at the evaluation point E which is set in the width direction and a crown control actuator is set or adjusted so as to become this target value of sheet crown, the position of the evaluation point E of the sheet crown is shifted corresponding to the amount of shifting from the neutral point in the shifting position of the work rolls 1 by the work roll shifting mechanism.
