SIMPLE TRANSPLANTATION OF TREE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a series of operations such as digging up, transportation or planting while retaining effects similar to those of a conventional root bowl execution method and realize a remarkable reduction in expenses. SOLUTION: A tree 1 to be transplanted with roots is dug up and washed with water to remove the root soil. Water and a clayey soil are then placed in a water tank container and stirred. A thickening agent such as wheat flour is mixed therewith and the resultant mixture is restirred to provide a pasty aqueous solution. The roots 3 of the washed tree are then dipped therein to stick the pasty aqueous solution to the surfaces of the roots 3, which are subsequently pulled up to coagulate and solidify the solution. Thereby, a protecting layer 5 consisting essentially of the soil is formed on the surfaces of the roots 3. In this state, the tree 1 is transferred to a place for transplantation and planted therein.
