Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the liquid crystal injection time of a vertically oriented liquid crystal display device and to make cell intervals uniform. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal cell constituted including substrate 10 and 20 having vertical orientation films on their internal surfaces is applied with a voltage to produce an electric field in the liquid crystal cell and a liquid crystal substance 90 is injected into the liquid crystal cell. The production of the electric field and the injection of the liquid crystal substance are carried out in a vacuum atmosphere of temperature higher than room temperature. The temperature in the vacuum atmosphere does not exceed the liquid crystal isotropic dislocation temperature and scatter point of the liquid crystal substance. The applied voltage is higher than the threshold voltage of the liquid crystal substance. Lipid crystal molecules are arrayed in parallel to the substrates with the applied voltage. Further, the liquid crystal molecules which are vertically oriented by applying the voltage to the liquid crystal cell are placed in a horizontal orientation state in the sealing process of an injection hole 60 and then the liquid crystal substance is speedily discharged to shorten the manufacture time, thereby enabling mass-production. |
