HOLD-DOWN CAP FOR HEAT-INSULATING MATERIAL AND SOUND-ABSORBING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hold-down cap for a heat-insulating material and a sound-absorbing material, by which the height size of a cap body can be reduced effectively while favorably ensuring a sure mounting state to the tip of a pin member pierced to the heat-insulating material and the sound-absorbing material and the excellent covering state of the tip of the pin member by the cap body. SOLUTION: A check plate member 14, which consists of a metal plate with a through-hole 28 and in which the tip of a pin member 41 pierced to the heat- insulating material 40 and the sound-absorbing material is inserted into a through-hole 28, is installed to a cap body 12 under the state, in which the movement of the member 14 into the internal space 20 of the cap body 12 can be prevented. The check plate member 14 is bent in a chevron shape projected towards the outside extending over the whole circumference at an inner circumferential site on the center side, on which the through-hole 28 is shaped, and at least a bent site 32 is projected and placed to the outside from the lower opening section 22 of the cap body 12.
