Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic welding device for a pipe circumference wherein the height of a welding head can be lowered and the necessary space for welding operations can be minimized. SOLUTION: A guide groove in a dovetail groove 9b shape is formed on the outer face of a guide rail 9, through which a welding head 1 travels, and a guide roller 61 of the head 1 is engaged/arranged in the guide groove. A circumferential driving motor 47 of the head 1 is arranged on the reverse torch side of the head 1 in a manner to be protruded along the pipe outer face. Furthermore, a spool to wind a welding wire 31 is transversely arranged.
