Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that can peel off a film from a panel surface of a cathode ray tube panel in a dry process. SOLUTION: This is a film peeling off device 1 provided with a stage 11, a light source 12, and a peeling off mechanism 13. The stage 11 places a cathode ray tube panel 2 with a panel surface 21 facing upward. The light source 12 has a length corresponding to a width length of the cathode ray tube panel and is provided being in parallel with a placing surface 11a above the stage 1. The peeling off mechanism 13 has a knife edge 13a brought into contact with the panel surface 21 of the cathode ray tube panel 2 of the stage 11, and the knife edge 13a faces to the light source 12 side. In the light source 12 and the knife edge 13a, the stage 11 moves from the light source 12 side to the knife edge 13a side.
